United Baseball Federation (UBF) looking for one

The UBF, formed in 1995 at a point when there was still no official word on whether the MLB would re-group after the strike. Twenty businessmen from across the nation created a replacement league while the MLB season was in limbo.

The UBF is a great OOTP 6 fictional league currently heading toward its second season. We currently have one opening -- the Newark Wildcats. Newark needs a little help this off-season, but are anchored by two 29-year old studs – first baseman Alberto Bernal and starter Sal Zavala. Definitely a nice core to build around.

We have a great bunch of active owners and interesting personalities covering the league through UBF Uncovered. So check out the league and rules -- if interested, email me at jdettbarn@hotmail.com, with a little info about yourself (online league experience, current leagues, etc.)

Just to say that this is a first class league, full of first class people. Jason's doing a great job of keeping us on track!

A great inaugural championship saw Cedar Rapids, with the simply awesome talents of Brian Lashbrook, triumph over the Oklahoma City Mavericks, the best team in the West. You want your shot to knock them off? This is your chance!
