ELSA Half full!
The ELSA (Eastern League/Southern Association) has reached its halfway point in filling its membership. Only 8 spots remain. The ELSA is a league with a historical backdrop (The old Class A Eastern League and Southern Association)that uses fictional players in 1945. Seven seasons were simmed to give the league some history along with settling the financial model. The ELSA uses OOTP5.
The teams still remaining are Albany, Binghamton, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport, Atlanta, Mobile, Nashville, and New Orleans. An in-depth review of each squads historical performance along with 1944 performance of top players can be found at http://www.buffalowarriors.com/elsa/simhistory.htm The League File and Reports are up at http://www.buffalowarriors.com/elsa/ Please sign up if interested! We will kick off the season as soon as we fill all the teams. I will work hard to make this a success as I have already spent weeks on the website and catobase and historical review. I hate to beg. But Please join! We will kick off immediately. Check out the website for in-depth detail.
I remember a survey around here that said people prefer fictional leagues! -Bob |

Looks like this league will be a great one. I know several of the owners and they are all amoung the best that i have been around. If not for my busy schedule i would take the time to join this league. But consider this my endorsment to this league given it's owners. We all know Owners are what makes a league strive.

Thanks for the endorsement!
Here are some more details about commitment issues for those of you "on the fence." The sim schedule will be an alternating 7/8/7 and 8/7/8 day schedule on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This will allow for better management of the disabled list. The Free Agent Period will be run on a 3/4/5/5/5/8 schedule so that owners have a better chance to acquire top free agents. |
