Hard Core Baseball needs a few "ACTIVE" owners going into 2nd season..

We had a strong first season after an initital draft using a CBL roster set.

We are currently in our first offseason and on Free Agency day 11.

We have a great core of active GM's who do not like when guys get "unactive", they like to trade alot and keep the league guessing on who will win.

We run live sims Monday/Wednesday/and Friday night around 10 or 11 PM eastern time. All we ask is you send one export per week or send an email if you just dont need to make changes.

We will accept owners without the game as we keep the site updated just as fast as the league file. But we do use the ootp6 engine. If you own the game it is a plus, less email lineups for the commish.

Teams open are as listed

Phillies - Taken by Randy, just a great guy and great commish!

Cardinals - Taken by Paul Markel II, a well known "ootp junky"

Pirates - Taken by Chad Williams, a nice guy and die hard Bravos fan!

Dodgers - """""""""""""""""" Open

Giants - Taken by Trevor York, seems very motivated and should make a great GM.

Rockies- Rockies - Dave Jones took the Rocks, he is fairly new to ootp but is a die hard Braves fan and after an hour long talk he seems like a great guy!

All of the teams are solid and with a little work could easily be playoff teams. We did start with a draft so there is no teams a HEAD above the rest. It is a fun league and feel free to check it out and join if you like what you see.

Edited to include "taken" teams.

This is a very good league. I joined part way thru, and the Commissioner and other owners have made me feel very welcome. The group of owner's is getting more active, and the Commish is very open to suggestions and innovative ideas to increase participation and activity. The league is active so trading and reshaping a team in your own mold is easy. Also, there are new incentives to increase participation, so the more active you are the better it is for your team. This should help keep the league on the upswing!

If you join just one On Line League this year, make it this one. John is a good guy and runs a good league. Plus the GM's are all great guys and easy to work with. Join now or regret it for the rest of your life.

Would love to join your league. I've been addicted to OOTP for a while now. I've looked over your league and would be really interested in taking over the Giants franchise. Dallas Mcpherson and Zack Jackson appear to be excellent prospects, and would be fun to manage. I can start ASAP and your have my word that I will be fun, fair and active owner.

Based on experience, I would skip this league. The commissioner is dishonest and poorly organized. This was my first experience with an on-line league and it was, quite honestly, a very poor one. There has to be something out there worth getting involved with, but this league isn't the one.
