GABL (www.goldenageofbaseball.com) is a new historic league that started in 1977 and is only 4 sims in (app. 1 month) we are using ootp5 and game ownership is required. 2 franchises are open, Detroit and Oakland. Take a look at the rules and the site. It's different than any other historic leagues out there in that we're introducing ammy's in the year they were actually drafted, thereby requiring development, rather than introducing them in the year they actually appeared in the majors, like most historic leagues, and when those ammy's appear, they're pretty much major league ready. Tons of research and development was done before the league got off the ground. I went through the 1972-1977 ammy drafts and added in all the appropriate minor leaguers to their correct organizations. It was primarily invite only at the start, and it's a very solid group of GM's.
