NAHHBL ending 1987 season - has 3 openings
The NAHHBL http://nahhbl.ootp-online.com/ has California, Seattle, and Arizona open. We're finishing up the 1987 playoffs and will be starting 1988 soon!

Arizona about to be filled.
That leaves : Florida, California, and Seattle For those who don't know, the NAHHBL has been around since OOTP3, we began in the 1980 season and now we're starting the 1998 season. The league isn't going anywhere. There was a recent post about the large number of leagues who have folded in the past year, the NAHHBL is not, and WILL not be one of them. A duo of myself and DaMavs (Chad Dorman) run the league and we run it well - IMHO. |

Here's the top 10 reasons you should join the NAHHBL:
1) A strict salary cap of $85 million balanced with a very high dollar amount given to National TV Contracts. This simulates a NFL style financial structure in MLB, making it possible for ALL teams to compete based on GM skills, not financial dominance. 2) A unique 8 division setup with four teams per divsion. There are no wild cards, just 8 division winners in the playoffs. To insure the best team in each division wins, the schedule is very heavy on the inter-division games. 3) A strict submission rate is required. If you can't submit at least 11 of the 18 submissions for the seaosn, you're removed. That simple. 4) Uses ALL features of OOTP, including waivers and DFA. 5) SEVENTEEN years of league history! 6) The commish and one other league member are beta testers! 7) Andy Samford is in the league - hear his music for free before anyone else! 8) The commish is a law student making for rules that could have been said in one sentance being stretched out for three paragraphs. 9) Sims are run on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday - 10 games per sim - and with TWO commish's, sims are not missed 10) As soon as the spots are filled, I don't have to come posting here anymore! |
