Looking for a deadball league

semi-experienced online, but an avid player of OOTP since v.4. Prefer OOTP6 and real-players. Am active as well.

If you are a commish in such a league, know one, or plan to start your own, let me know!

EDIT: By real, I do mean historical.

Heh...not quite what i meant, but I have been looking at your league and am interested in it. I'll drop by there this week.

BTW: are you going to make any more "Canadian" customizations other than team name and location? Make all the Quebec teams' text in French? Change the name files? Distances to fences in metric?

hmmm intresting idea, but probably not that I can think of right away.

for the french thing, first, hardly anyone here speaks french, so hence almsot no-one woudl be able to enjoy the commentary. And two, my french sucks.

The name files i'll have to look into actually. I'll need more Irish, Scot, English, french names mostly with a sprinking of others like german, scandinavian, and slavic (ukranian mostly for the western provinces). make an extremely rare chinese, adjusted to be more common as time went by. Names of meditranian in origin (spanish, protuguese, italian, arabic, indian) would probably nto exist for a while. maybe add a sprinking of greek and jewish, i dont really know since my demogrpahics of Canada are beyond rusty

as for distance in metric, not a chance. One reason is that in 1919, Canada still used the British imperial system, we didnt change over to metric till the 70's (and will you ever get an earful if you ask anyone up here past the age of 40 what they think of that idea)

Talking

Yeah...I was joking about the metric thing

I remember when they tried to get it to stick down here, too...spent a year of elementary school studying it before the govt decided to give it up!
