Were just about to wrap up our 2nd season (1991) here in the Lords of Baseball with only 14 games to go. I can see that we are going to need some new blood for a couple of teams since they seem to be rudderless at the present moment. Seems I go through this process each and every year since I started this league, but I just cannot stand mediocrity among the GM's, when I see so many of our GM's making great efforts in the care of their teams. Were a historical league, we started in the year 1990. I personally reedited every single player in the league and spared nothing when it came to the depth of my reediting, It is one of the best league files out there. So if you enjoy statistically accurate leagues, this could be the one for you. Take a look at our site and PLEASE read the rules so you know what is expected. The Texas Rangers have just come open. The Rangers have some very good talent and will be a contender next season. The team features a young superstar in Juan Gonzalez and Ruben Sierra along with some very good pitching with the likes of Kevin Brown, Jamie Moyer heading up the staff. As the former Rangers Owner i strongly urge anyone interested in a historical sim to join LOB! If i didn't have to leave for the Army soon, i would be in the league still, and be in for a long long time. BCStone is a stellar Commissioner and the owner base is fantastic.

With Darkhorse the origonal GM, he did a great job with them and made them a contender, i took over after his departure and made a few trades to strengthen the pitching staff. The Rangers have had 2 caring owners and want to continue on that same path.

Good luck with the league BCStone, and when i get out of Basic, i'll definitly take you up on your offer to join back in.
