The League of Gentlemen

I thought I'd make a post over here and see what kind of interest we get.

We started a new league on BBSC not long ago based on a new concept of management, at least one that I had never encountered.

Instead of one person running each team, there are owners, general managers and field managers. Owners obviously own the teams and hire a management staff, with the staffs working together to run the teams.

Everyone in the league has a personal fortune. Owners amass money based on their team's financial performance while managers earn money from the contracts they sign.

Owners can buy and sell teams, and once managers earn enough money they can purchase existing teams or fund expansion teams.

The possibilities are endless. But for the league to work it requires a group of active and interested owners. This is not a league you can just sit on, occasionally checking in. At first we assembled six management teams but it seems unless we bring in outside people, two of them will need to be contracted so we can get the league off the ground.

If you are not familiar with BBSC, we are a tight-knit gaming community. Our online leagues are extremely active and based in the forums. You would need to join BBSC if you are not already a member and post and communicate with your management team frequently.

If anyone is interested you may contact me here or on BBSC, as bulldog55 on both sites.

We're sort of feeling things out right now just to see what sort of response we'd get. But we could use several people who are seriously interested in participating.
