Openings in poorly run league with drunk commish

The NAHHBL has openings for Philly, California, Seattle, and Cincy. if you are interested, please check us out http://nahhbl.ootp-online.com/

The NAHHBL started in 1980 using real major league rosters and all 26 teams. Following the 1980 season, two teams were eliminated and the league switched to a 24 team league with a three divisional setup, adding two Wild Card teams to the playoffs and doubling the number of teams involved in the playoffs. Following the 1985 season, we expanded to 30 teams by adding one additional team in each division, leaving the structure of the league unchanged. Finally, after the 1996 season we added two more teams and changed to a four division setup. The fans love it, but if you don't win your division, you don't make the playoffs.

Teams are required to use AIM, as this is the primary method of communication for trading in the NAHHBL, and what we use for all live league events, including Live playoff sims and the Live Rookie Draft.

Ownership of the actual game is required.

The NAHHBL uses the following features of OOTP :
- FTP Uploads
- Arbitration
- Minor league options and minor league free agency
- Salary Cap
- Waivers
- 40 man rosters
- Rule V draft
- Designate for Assignment

The NAHHBL does not use the following features of OOTP:
- Managers, Scouts, or Coaches
- Cash Maximum

There are 18 sims in a season. Each team is awarded one point for the submission of an expimp for a sim. A team is awarded .7 points for a post in the forum explaining why they will not be able to submit an expimp for a future sim. At the end of the season, a team must have accumulated at least 70% of the possible points (70% of 18 is 12 points) to remain a member of the NAHHBL. - in theory, you never have to submit if you post ahead of time.

The national TV revenue is the same for all teams in the league and is currently fixed at $35 Mil
The local TV revenue contracts are generated by the game and will not be changed by the commish.
Team Market Size, Fan Loyalty, and Fan Interest are all determined by the OOTP engine.

A team may not go over the $85 million salary cap at any point during the regular season and playoffs.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask

let me add, the "goal" of the game is to let GM's run their team based on the skill of the GM, not the pocketbook of the owners. It is a league modeled more like the NFL than real MLB. If you look at the financial report, the 16th team (the half way point) spends under $15mil less than the top spending team. This allows for a good balance between teams and alot of competition
