Looking to get back into the swing of things

After a long break from the OOTP world I'm ready to make my return as a general manager. First some background about me as a GM, and then I'll let everyone know exactly what I'm looking for in a league. I've been in many OOTP leagues dating all the way back to OOTP4. My proudest achievement as a GM and probably the most fun I've ever had running a team was in the S3BL
(run by Halofan). I spent four seasons molding the Yankees into title contenders, and left them like that when I left the league.

If you have questions about me as a GM I would suggest you talk to Mike, over at S3BL, as he can vouch for me as a manager.

Now, what I'm looking for..
-Relatively new league, either first or second season.
-OOTP5 or OOTP6, doesn't matter, I own both
-Real player league, with real MLB alignment (division as well as city playing in)
-I have no problem taking over a contender, or a team that needs rebuilding. Either one I will have fun with

I suggest Awful League. The commish is great, the site looks fine. Its only in the first season.

I think there would be a lot of openings, since we had some trouble early on and maybe the other guys couldn't wait. Its running smoothly now though. I'm Orioles there, btw. Thanks.

i have 2 openings in my S3BL league but its not a new league, but in case you are interested let me know and we can go from there

Our league just may fit you:

1. We have a league in it's inaugural season, at the moment at May 27 1960.
2. We use only REAL players.
3. We use a 2 league, East/West division format. Currently 16 teams. (3 available)
4. We use OOTP6.11
5. We could use an OOTP wise man, like yourself, who's done it before. Your experience could help a young league in several ways!
6. Available teams and current records:
Braves 33-19
Indians 23-29
Athletics 25-27
7. We have a PC savvy Commish running the game on a high powered Sony Vaio RZ P4 3Ghz monster. The Commissioner, yours truly, is self employed with loads of free time so I'm always accessible.
