Any Supermodel Leagues Around?
I have tried to search the site and everything for a Supermodel OOTP league but the only one I found had a commissioner who recently spent nine hours in a tree with a broken pelvis, so that doesn't look like it exists anymore. I am interested in being with fellow supermodel owners who have similar interests, like photo shoots, visiting glamorous locations, and getting into acting (commercials first but eventually movies or a sitcom). If you do know of any, please PM me as I really don't want word to be spread around here - there are lots of, how can I put this without offending anyone, tremendously geeky loners that populate these boards and I'm afraid they would try to join the league through dishonest means. Thanks in advance and may you always look your very best!

Actually my impression is that this post was meant more to ridicule the post inquiring into an all-christian league. Every post ever started on this site involving christian leagues has brought at least several negative responses. I don't recall seeing such a reaction to other special interest leagues, just christian ones. Even though I am an atheist I don't really understand the animosity towards christians and christianity in western culture.

To conclude, if there are any Christians, supermodels or computer geeks that are offended by my unfunny posts, just let me know via PM. Or you could report me. Just don't send me any viruses. By the way, thanks to the person who sent me the link to that supermodel league! You know who you are. Unfortunately, it's an atheist supermodel league, so I had to decline.

Once upon a time FBBL had a lot of hot girls on the front page. The ACL has Mary-Kate and Ashley on the front page. The WCBL has a girl in it's logo.

Anyone who believes there is an invisible man living in the sky also deserves such ridicule... their own book says to rejoice in it. However, I'm sure this isn't the correct forum for such a discussion, even though I find it irresistable. |

I'm not saying you should be a Christian, even though it wouldn't be terribly bad for you. However you may want to have a little less venom in your thoughts when it comes to thinking of Christianity this way.

The fact is, Jesus said that anyone who doesn't *hate* his mother, father, brother, & sister cannot be his disciple (Luke 14:26) ... It's not my fault most preachers glaze over this verse, or attempt to explain it away. |

-So Jesus calls for a follower who will hate his mother and father, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life. The point of the list is that no other relationship is first for a disciple. "Hate" is used figuratively and suggests a priority of relationship. Jesus is first. To follow Jesus means to follow Jesus, not anyone or anything else. A disciple is a learner, and the primary teacher in life is Jesus. This total loyalty is crucial, given the rejection and persecution that lie ahead. If his followers care more about family than about Jesus, when families are divided under pressure of persecution, they will choose against Jesus. This is what lies behind Jesus' remarks. Discipleship is not possible if Jesus is not the teacher. http://bible.gospelcom.net/resources...&seq=i.49.14.1 |
