I would just like to state that I am not thin-skinned I just didn't think that this was the forum to bash others on. Once again I respect everyone's beliefs and just want to play some OOTP so lets play ball!
Maybe it was a french person who didn't speak good english, and wanted a french league because it would be easier for him to understand the other people in it.

I understood your point. In fact I may be partially guilty of stirring this whole thing up. My comment in your original thread touched off a small (very small in comparision to some I've seen) verbal melee.

Apologies to all. I have no desire to be in any leagues other than the ones I'm already in, so perhaps I should have just kept my mouth shut.

Hey man...I hope you find an all Christian OOTP League. I really do.

I'd sign on to this, but between work, the online league I'm already in, and the Octopus League thread, I really don't have time to add on another league.

Sorry

Slugger, go find BALL - I believe that's the league for you. Although I can't vouch for some of their former members and their persecution complexes. There you go- Im not sure where the website it. I believe it stands for "Baseball And Lord Lovers"...

Conan of Cimmeria's big league diary

And Conan, the Right Fielder of the Mighty Cimmerian team, recalled the day his father taught him the Riddle of Wood:

No one in this world can you trust. Not managers, not pinch runners, not wicked outside sliders. [Points to 46oz baseball bat handed down by his father's father.] But this... this you can trust.

And on that final game against the wicked Right Hand Hurler Thulsa Doom, Conan stepped into the batter's circle and lifted his head in a defiant prayer:

Crom, I have never prayed to you before. I have no tongue for it. No one, not even you, will remember if we were good men or bad. Why we played, and why we won or lost. All that matters is that today, nine stood against nine. Valor pleases you, so grant me this one request. Grant me revenge! And if you do not listen, the HELL with you!
