Looking to start/join brand-spanking new league

Hya! Since Awfulleague just folded, I'd like to join a new league (meaning - one that hasn't drafted/simmed yet). Failing that, I'd like to group together with someone(s) to start one up.

My interests:
- I like historical/real player leagues, but fictional could be fun with some creative people involved (otherwise the players are just stats)
- ACTIVITY/INTEREST: I'm a compulsive roster tweaker, and prefer to play with GMs who are engaged in their teams and building winners. While making trades for the sake of trading isn't the best thing, I'd like to play with peeps who look to trading A-ballers to build up for the future and don't always look at current ratings/stars when making proposals
- History: I'm a history buff and enjoy thinking about the historical side of fantasy leagues. I'd like to play with similarly-minded people
- Speedy sims: pick a good sim pace so that we can see how things unfold.

What I have to offer:
- Long-time OOTP player (since OOTP4)
- Passonately interested in baseball, esp. history
- Long-time fantasy baseball player (mostly on ESPN)
- Am online most of my waking hours
- For those who might want to develop a league, I'm extremely tech-savvy and run my own servers, among other things. I'd be interested in paring up with someone who had a good design eye and wanted to put some thought into buildign a league that sits outside the rest. It might be interesting to develop one democratically in order to get GMs with a vested interest in keeping things running long-term.

If you would like, I would be happy to make you co-commish of my new league that I currently have no owners for yet. I am simming the league currently as a solo league but I will probably restart the leauge under its current config for online gaming. I am probably going to do that tonight actually. Would you be interested? I have web space and FTP space. That should not be an issue


Let me know. It is a fictional leauge. I have a thread on this forum already that talks about it. Perhaps you could help me run it. I have never done this before You also might no people that might be interested.
