Historical league has two openings

The ORB has a couple of openings as we hit the off-season (we are in the middle of it now). We started in 1982, so the league is starting its 11th season (1992). Thursday, 1/20 is Opening Day.

New York Yankees - Our current owner went AWOL. They are in above average shape and look to have one last season of average play, as a bunch of players are in their final year of deals. Their system is lead by Brien Taylor, Mike Mussina, Alex Fernandez, Al Leiter, Willie Greene, Eric Davis and Tom Goodwin.

Houston Astros - This team is in financial hell. The cash they have in the html file will be replaced by a 7 million debt once the draft is done. The good news is the bulk of their contracts are up this year and the system as some talent, Terry Steinbach, Lance Johnson, Jose Mesa, Bobby Thigpen, Mike Piazza, Matt Stairs, Henry Rodriguez, Eric Young, Tino Martinez and Denny Neagle. They also still have about 5 more picks in this draft. This team is for those who like a challenge or just love the Astros.

take the Yanks and prepare to battle with the Jays for future domination of the AL East!

ORB is one of best and most fun leagues that I'm in. Lots of very active owners who know their baseball.

And quickly someone takes up the task of rebuilding the Astros. Only the Yankees are left open.
