IBPL looking for players!

Dear whom this may Concern,

This letter was sent to you inviting you to join the International Baseball Players League. (IBPL for future reference) We have been around for 1 1/3 seasons of game time, and around 3 months real time, but that shouldn’t stop us from being a great league.

We just got past the resignation of the Co-Founder, due to lack of time. Though we do regret him from leaving us, we have found a replacement, and the transition has gone smoothly. And the Co-Commissioner Steven Jackson, and I, The Prodigy, hope to usher a new era of IBPL excellence into makings. And undoubtedly, the players and GMs alike will help Steve and I do just that, as it’s not a one-man effort.

We also believe that the leagues should be fun, and functional more than anything. In order to do this, we are instituting plans that even if you come up as a terrible player, you can develop into a star! How so you may ask? Simple, we institute 3 Lotteries per season. What are these supposed lotteries? They are a chance on getting your talent, or ratings increase by 10 points. So, you could go from being a bench player to a starter overnight! (Maybe I am exaggerating a bit, but hey, you could) and random player development and Spring Training may turn your career around!

We sim every Monday, Thursday, and Saturdays at around 8:00 Eastern Standard time, for a duration of 2 weeks a sim. Not only does this ensure a quick season, but also to give a sense of flow to the league. And our GMs are more than just GMs. We have 4 friendly and caring GMs who really care about the league, and their players. And our current players take their own time and try to help to make the league more enjoyable! We would love to have you join the league, and will go out of the way to make you feel welcome, and apart of the community.
