Lords of Baseball (Seattle and Toronto)
Good leagues are hard to find. But somehow, this one is falling in your lap.
The Lords of Baseball is a very realistic, early 90's league entering its third season. You may have heard of us - do a search and check out the props this outstanding young league is getting. We use a thoroughly modified Lahman database, OOTP6 and are fortunate enough to have some very dedicated owners and a stable league. That said, real life does come up from time to time and as such, we're looking for new owners for the following teams: Seattle (95-66, 1st in the AL West last season) - The Mariners had the best record in the AL in 1991 before a surprise 1st round exit at the hands of the rascally Cleveland Indians. They should match that success in 1992, with solid foundation built around Ryne Sandberg, Edgar Martinez, Randy Johnson and young uberstar Ken Griffey Jr. Toronto (84-77, 3rd in the AL East) - The up and coming Blue Jays are just a couple of pieces away from really contending. Stars like Fred McGriff, near-MVP John Olerud, Dave Stieb and Duane Ward are being complemented by improving young players like Glenallen Hill, Mark Whiten, Vinny Castilla, Willie Greene and Armando Reynoso. If you're interested in a statistically accurate league, check us out at http://lordsofbaseball.us/, read the Rules (there are a couple of unique ones) and fill out an Application form, found on the front page. Thanks! Steve (LOB Commish) |

Sorry to see that BC Stone had to step aside but it's also nice to that the league will continue. Good luck, it's an excellant league.
