Active GM looking for a league...

I'm in a variety of Historical leagues, but if someone's starting a new 2005 league (and I can have the Mets) I'm in if you're serious about running this thing for awhile.

Unfortunately many of the present day leagues come and go too quickly.

If there's nothing like that out there, then I've got (almost) enough OOTP action with the leagues I'm in.

It's a bit early for 2005 leagues. That said, DBLC is two sims into a restart after the first 22 year go around. I dunno if you could get the Mets, however. A link is in my sig. You're always welcome in Boys of Summer.

EDIT: BTTF starts anew with BTTF2 League
BTTF is another quality league which is restarting/about to restart. But again, the Mets might be tough to get

Just checked Boys of Summer - I know many of those GMs! I'm in a league that's in 1922, but you'll be rolling into the 1930's soon. Haven't played a 30's league yet. Do you have an opening?

Then again, I might be bad luck. I played in both the other leagues listed on the forum (MLB Replay and GDBA) and they both closed on me!

Yes, we move quickly as we sim 45 days a week (3 sims/15 per). We have the Pirates open right now, but there's one guy on the waiting list that I have to give priority too. I don't think he'll decline but I'll let you know if he does or another opening opens up. I was the Senators in MLB-Replay and also played briefy with you in CIBA and GDBA. If you didn't know, Stacy Bond started Boys of Summer which explains why you know many of the GMs.

Yep, I've seen his name on all those leagues.

Let me know if something opens up. Wouldn't mind being in a league again with that group.

Our Pirates opening has been taken care of. I'll put you at the top of the waiting list, I'd be happy to have your son when a second team opens up.

He'd love to join one! But I make him concentrate on schoolwork first. We're going down to FL for spring training the end of March. Get some father-son baseball time together.

OK, I guess after talking to the Boys of Summer commish, I'd take an historicla league in an era i'm not already playing. But if an opening comes up in BOS it looks like I'll have the ones I'm intersted in well covered. Maybe a fresh 1950's league?

Ha, look at the leagues I'm in already. When the house is quiet late at night, I have plenty of time to work on the various leagues. Time Warp is almost a full time job.
