I wasn't sure where to put this so move it if you deem it is needed.
anyway, I recieved a pm from a GM, here is the important part Quote:
1. i am the commish & a gm so anything other than basic general info starts to creep into a fuzzy area. 2. I am not the best person to ask about online league FA startegy, my track record in not good so i ask for the input of my fellow ootp online league player to help him out. I have told him to look for this conversation thanks

As far as I know, you can only bid up to a certain amount on players at any one time. This is based on the available money number. I don't think you'll be able to offer players more than your available cash until someone else outbids you. The question really is: Do you want to bid for as many players as you can until you reach that number, or do you want to leave some cash for raising offers to your favorite FA targets? That's more of a personal preference decision and how you think the bidding will go.
