APLB - 19th century League needs one owner.

Alternate Professional League Baseball is an OOTP6 league about halfway through the 1882 season. We are a twelve team league that uses real players with fictional teams and started with the 1871 season. The league will be expanding to sixteen teams in 1884.

The New York Mutuals, an 1876 expansion team, is currently ownerless. As of August 21, 1882, they have a record of 36 - 35 and sit five and a half games out of first place. If you wish to take over the team but want to move them, you will be able to use the "new ownership rule" to move them to a new market before the 1883 season begins.

Team has been filled.

I am planning on expanding the league to 16 teams with the addition of 4 new franchises for the 1884 season (Which is probably about a month or so away).

I need to see what kind of interest there would be in a 19th century expansion team. I was going to wait until the start of the 1883 season to officially look for new owners, but if you are interested in getting an 1884 expansion team, please email me at pmpiro@yahoo.com
