The ORB Is currently in the middle of June 1992. For some reason we can't seem to keep an owner dedicated in Houston. Could you be the one who turns this franchise around?


Houston Astros - This team is in financial hell. They have a 7 million debt, but they are close to making more money then they have in payroll for the year and are only 1 game out of first place with 15 million coming off the books at season end. The good news is thier system as some talent, Terry Steinbach, Lance Johnson, Jose Mesa, Bobby Thigpen, Mike Piazza, Matt Stairs, Henry Rodriguez, Eric Young, Tino Martinez and Denny Neagle.

unlike some of the other leagues which shall remain nameless, this is a really fun, very challenging league with teams run by dedicated, intelligent baseball fans... except for the Pirates GM. but you'll learn how to deal with him pretty quickly.

if you've been looking for not just a good, but an excellent league, this is the one.

I've only been in this league since the last few weeks of the 1991 season but it is very active and fun. Nearly all the owners are vocal and participate on a level that is hard to find in any kind of online community. Plus most of the guys (Lynchy especially) are the type of folks you would want to go out to the game with and buy a beer
