BATS currently has 2 openings as we enter the 2007 offseason. The Oakland A's and San Francisco Giants are both in need of new owners. Both ballclubs are in good shape with a nice mix of star players and prospects while having sound financials. The A's made the playoffs 2 of the past 3 years. The Giants made the playoffs in 2004.

Some League Details:
- OOTP 6.0
- Sims 6 days per week (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri)
- 5 days per sim
- Started using 2004 CBL 2.0 roster set.
- Runs CatoBase for a huge historical stat archive. View our history at http://bats.abatt.net/cato/index.html.
- All exporting by in-game FTP.
- Export tracker for owners to use.
- Financial incentives to write articles about your team and or the league.
- New stadium builds, stadium configuration changes, and seat adding is allowed. See full rules at http://bats.abatt.net/constitution.html

Past BATS Champions have been:

2004 - Chicago Cubs (World Champions) by Jleone, Oakland A's (Runners Up) by Masonbbcjays.
2005 - Florida Marlins (World Champions) by Doibhilin, Detroit Tigers (Runners Up) by Wb194.
2006 - Seattle Mariners (World Champions) by Panzer0481, Cincinnati Reds (Runners Up) by Blankhawkdown.

2007 free agency begins soon. The draft will begin soon after and we should see the start of the 2007 season begin early next week. We look forward to you joining. Thanks.

Just to further add to this, we require the following:

OOTP6 must be owned.
You must use AIM.
Must have be "experienced" with online leagues, basically, you need to have been in other leagues.

are our open teams at the moment. We are looking for a fairly experienced owner, who uses OOTP6 and AIM, and is interested in joining a real roster league.

Spring Training is tomorrow, with opening day on Sunday for the 2007 season.
