Its hard to describe the crazy atmosphere that is HFTC so the best I can do is provide some numbers on HFTC.

In 15 months HFTC has over 22k forum posts, averaging roughly 1450 posts per month. We love to argue bitch whine and trash talk about everything from the latest HFTC trade to Barry Larkin's HOF candidacy to Maroon5 to World of Warcraft.

HFTC averages more than 86 trades per year with 692 trades made in our 8 seasons.

Our GMs are talking trash 24/7 with over 3.14 million hits in the month of February which equates to over 14,000 visits for the month.

We just finished the regular season. Now would be a great time to join us for the full offseason and begin your preparations.

Besides what you can learn from visiting HFTC's BOSI and Gazette about each team. I thought I would add the following. Indy is in a great building position having accumulated many draft picks in the upcoming drafts. Indy has 15 picks in the first two rounds for the next 3 ammy drafts. Portland..well...not as many as Indy.

- OOTP 5 League (game required)
- ETA for OOTP 6 unknown (if v6 is a concern for you, its best you don't join)
- Activity is required and monitored, but no silly posting rules and other incentives.
- League founded approx 17 months ago in November of 2003
- 32 teams (MLB teams + Portland & Indy)
- Inaugural season was 2003 - currenly 10/03/10
- Started with Rocco's 2003 rosters, but after 7 seasons, we have a large percentage of fictional players
- Sim 2x a week approx 2 weeks in each sim (a sim month per week)
- Sims are Tues and Friday (exports due 6am PST)
- Trades are processed on Monday/Thursday (1 day before sim)
- Ammy draft in June, 6 rounds
- No coaches/scouts
- Picks/Players/Cash can be traded
- Financial system based on luxury tax (does a great job in assisting smaller markets, many of our best teams are small markets)
- No salary cap
- Cash capped at $25m

This league has to be one of the best available using v5. With a GM created financial system and other ammenities, there is more stuff here than v6. Well, almost. We are a serious group of GM's and most of us have been here from the start. We run the gamut of GM's from the novice to the serious and from points around the world.

For those looking for an enjoyable, stable and well managed league, this is the one you haven't been able to find.
