PTSSL with 2005 ST Rosters

We, the owners and I, decided to start over with the 2005 rosters to make the league mroe interesting and active. I need 3 teams though, the Astros, D-Backs, and Giants are open. You do not need the game, just be active and have fun. I'm me at Kisney016 or post on the boards you want to join.

Yeah, it must suck playing in a league where the commish has been accused of cheating before in his past leagues and won't permit a file due to him fearing others will cheat, somehow, if it became available. very suspicious

Yea, I was accused of cheating, but I'm pretty sure that all commissioners have been by owners who try to mess your sim league up. If I was really cheating I wouldn't be able to always get my GMs back and fill up my leagues. I league file is not mae available because I go through the hard work of putting it all in for atleast 25 GMs, making a league file for the few 2-3 that have the game would just more of a hassel. There fore I don;t give it out.

Also, I need a Twins GM, please contact me.

Just out of curiosity, how would making the league file available to those with the game be more of a hassle? And, if being a commish is a hassle, then why be a commish?

It is not that I wouldn't make it for those who have the game, it is just that having 28 GMs that don't have the game and 1 that does and I have to make out a file for that 1 that needs it, not worth it. That is why I, when people IM me about the league, tell them if it'd be ok to make all your moves on the message boards.

But by not making a file available, you open yourself up to being accused of cheating. It seems silly to leave open that possibility. And again, how much more time would it take you to make a file available? 2 minutes?

How am I more open to being accused? I don't get it. Also, I guess I don't know how to make a league file. It takes pretty long to extract and copy all those files and I do have a good computer. That password thing also is kinda dumb.

Well, seeing as how nobody can see the ratings other than what's on the webpage, if somone goes on a tear after hitting .200 for the first 3 months of the season, with out proof of talent bumps and the like, people might think that the league file was tampered with. And I'm sorry, but if you don't know how to make a league file, then maybe you shouldn't be trying to commish a league. That's not meant as a slam, but just an observation. And what Password thing?

I know how to make a league file, I have made it before but as I said for one GM only it isn't worth it. Also, the password to protect the league, don;t like having to set one for all teams.

If you want a league though that you don;t need the game, come to me. I need a Dodgers and Rangers GM. They are basically untouched by inactive GMs. IM me at Kisney016.
