Manager Records

How about adding records for Manager's, like most career wins, most championships, etc. So we, as managers, have something to strive for. Would also be cool to have a manager of the year award.

Thanks.

Yeah, assuming the game will have hirable managers and such, I'd love to be able to see this.

With the revamping of coaches and scout and such, I think it would be good to have them all have a "career stats" page similar to what players have.

Perhaps these characters will still have ratings, but hopefully they will be vaguer than the likes of "LEGENDARY" meaning a guy is the best there can be in some facet. As has been suggested before the stats of teams for which a guy worked could go into assessing his ability. On his stats page have a row for each stint within a season with various numbers, just like is seen for players.

Code:
John Doe

Year Lev Team Position W L Avg ERA
2006 A BAL Bench Coach 77 54 .268 4.63
2007 A BAL Pitching Coach 80 58 .265 4.34
2008 AAA BAL Pitching Coach 82 58 .273 4.51
2009 AAA BAL Pitching Coach 34 22 .279 4.29
2009 AL BAL Pitching Coach 50 51 .266 4.93
2010 AL BAL Pitching Coach 83 79 .267 4.77
There could be more/different stats, and context would still matter like it does with player stats in trying to figure out if a guy was any good. If there is some sort of CatoBase like capability built in then there could be links say from the team abbrevations to a history page for that team. Perhaps something like the current player history notes could include notes about awards, success, championships, etc.
