No-Trade Clauses!

I've suggested this every year to no avail.

First, have 10/5 guys. A player in the majors for 10 seasons and 5 witht he same club has an automatic no-trade clause.

Second, be able to offer no-trade clauses in contract negotiations. Particulalry with resigning your own player, this could, in some instances, allow the player to take a hometown discount. A player could still be traded with a no-trade clause, but it would need his persmission. His permission would be determined by his character ratings, particulalry "loyalty", and "desire to play for a winner". This would help capitalize on character ratings, which I've found worthless in my 3 years with this game. Another possible stipulation of waiving a no-trade clause would be the team requiring to sign a player to an extention. (i.e. Schilling, Unit, Shawn Green). This may seem like a lot but I think would greatly enhance the game. Let me hear your thoughts

I can see how some people would want this, and it's not a bad idea, however, if this finds its way into the game please make it with an on/off switch

To this end, I'd actually like to see more details in contract negotiation overall. No trade clauses, performance-based incentives, etc. This is all in FM, of course, and so maybe it will be in OOTP too.

Togglable, of course!
