In-game simulation

I think if you want to make the in-game simulations better is this. Some may sound unplausible but I'm just throwing out ideas.

1. I see a lot of people complaining about not pitch by pitch so I would like to also. I think it would make the game a lot more fun if there was an option to do pitch by pitch.

2. You can choose what pitches to throw like you go through multiple buttons. For instance, you first choose Curveball/Splitter/Sinker (for groundballs) and then choose inside or outside and then choose to be a ball or strike. Location doesn't have to be exact.

3. For hitting, choose what hit you want to make. It always doesn't have to be exact but the CPU should lean on it more. For instance, Line Drive, Grounder, Fly ball, something like that. Also, you should have a button for Sac Fly since there is a button for Sac Bunt.

4. Stealing should be a lot better like you can steal on two strikes and all that other stuff. You can also pick-off when your pitching.

5. This might be very hard to do but how about a graphic animation of the game like the player moving to 2nd base on a steal and show the catcher throwing the ball. And also like the player hitting the ball into the OF and show where it went.

Just throwing out ideas again..

My point of view on Pitch by Pitch:

1. Unlike R/L splits every player has an individual ability to hit in different counts (like Manny with 2 Strikes) but there is absolutley no information on this in the Lahman DB so either you give every player a random rating or you give all players the same tendencies. Both ways are plain wrong and very unrealistic.

2. With Pitch by Pitch mode it is much harder to produce realistic stats then with AB by AB. That would be very bad for historical leagues.

3. Pitchselection, "Hitselection", location, Ball/Strike. The AI was never the strongest part of Ootp and I see a lot of problems with this stuff.

In a perfect world it would be great to have PbP but I donīt see how it would work in a realistic way.

Just my

kind of expanding on it in a different way...but Id like to ability to keep the batter from swinging on 3-0 or 3-1...perhaps a "green light" button. It annoys me when my guys always ground out on 3-1 or 3-0.
