Positional rotations

I'd like the ability to set some rules in the depth charts. This comes to mind because my team in one league has two 2.5-star catchers of roughly equal capabilities (one's too old to trade and will probably retire at the end of this year anyway). I'd like it if I could give them each roughly 50% of the games behind the plate and tell the game that whichever one isn't catching should be the DH.

Doesn't the 7 day lineups allow you to control this????

I have 5 guys that I platoon in 4 positions and every 7 games 3 of the guys play 6 games , 2 play 5. Works out great for me using the 7 day lineups.

Player A - 5 games 1B
Player B - 5 games LF
Player C - 5 games RF, 1 game LF
Player D - 5 games CF, 1 game RF
Player E - 2 games 1B, 1 game LF, 2 games CF, 1 game RF

In the 7 games format I have 6 different lineups......I keep all my players fresh and they get at least a day off each week....

Just one thing to remember about catchers, they get taken out more than regular players and if you put your catcher at DH then the game has a tendency to put position players at catcher when they ph or take out the original catcher. I would not put a catcher at DH unless I carried 3 catchers. I would then put 1 at DH, the other at C and rotate them but then have a sub for the lineup changes made by the AI. Funny thing, I have seen the AI put a MR in as a catcher in a long game, and in other games my CF came in to catch. You would think that the AI would use a 1B or 3B for this.....

That's a frequent problem. Multiposition players have always presented a dilemma for the depth charts, and I would second this idea.
