I think it would be great if the financial end of things were expanded. This would include:

being able to add concessions to your park, and price things like food, beverages and souvenirs.
being able to charge for seating depending on a seat chart (box seats are more, etc)
having a season ticket functionality
being able to add attractions to your park (like fan batting cages etc.) as well as events like 'kids run the bases' instead of just bobble head promotions
and though a bit of a different thought as it relates to salaries...how about chaning player salary negotiations so you can add option years as well as no trade clauses?

I've never really bothered posting in this forum, but I read it often. So while I have the chance, thanks for putting out a great game! btw, when I replaced my computer I wanted a Mac, but didn't get one because this game didn't support it. So please please add it for the next one (I know you plan too)

Or at least make it optionable. I'd much rather concentrate on the baseball side of things then the overall operations of the club. That's what merchandising and revenue is for, as well as ticket prices. Sure the ticket prices could be expanded upon (like you suggested with season passes and so forth), but it seems a little intense and difficult to add in along with the baseball financials.

The salary negotiations have been talked about, especially the option years and no trade clauses. From what I've heard, WSM does this, so it's possible I assume for OOTPBM to do it.

You can also edit your promotions to be whatever you want. They don't have to be bobblehead dolls.

Just to expand on my idea. I know that the 'baseball sim' is the most important aspect of the game, but for me at least, a big part of the appeal is the total financial management of the game....or at least that is what I wish the appeal was. I think for me, I'd like to see a bit of a (forgive me) 'tycoon' side to this game, that was able to be turned off for those that hate it.

In MLB2006 for example (I know its a console game and I'm gonna be hung for mentioning it) there were features around concession sales, team transportation, player facilities like fitness rooms etc...... This really added to it for me, I liked it. I'd love it if it was in this game.

And so speaks the silent minority.
