Another suggestion....don't you just hate newbies?

How about instead of just random injuries that put players as unavailable that game shook it up a bit with things like:

• Joe Scmuck, your second baseman was just arrested for cocaine posession and will be in jail for 3 weeks.
• Joe Scmuck, your second baseman was just in a car accident and has been killed... career over!
• Joe Scmuck, has just tested positive for steroid use and will be suspended for (well, depends on if congress has stepped in yet).

Anyway, I admit its a bit soap opera...but at least it isn't the same injury 25 times. It would be best in my mind if it was a very rare event btw.

And while I'm at it...how about threatening emails from agents or any emails from agents demanding things like contract extensions, etc.

And finally, how about baseball cards.....no really. How about being able to view player baseball cards...and if we are really stretching it...we could print them!

Many of us do that on our own now, using things like Bobble's random event generator. You can also simulate some of that kind of stuff with alterations to the injury.txt file. It would be interesting to see it integrated into the game, though.
