A Better computer generated line-up and computer pinch hitting moves!
I am running 6.5b beta upgrade as i just found out there was a newer upgrade i just downloaded today.
Anyway, I have played the game for two seasons and seen many times where a player that leads-off in real life like Furcal, will be batting clean-up or a player like Jeff Bagwell will be leading off!!.. i was wondering is it possible for the sim programming to have a feature built in that has a percentage built in for where a player bats in a lineup? say a Furcal has a 90% batting leadoff and a 10% batting 2nd (just in case a player was aquired that also was a leadoff hitter) or say Ken Griffey Jr has a 75% batting 3rd, 15% batting 4th etc so that crazy lineups are not produced by the sim?? Also i have had issues with the pinch hitting of the computer.. I was playing the Braves and late in the game with the Braves losing to my Reds, the Sim pinch hit for Andrew Jones after he already had a homer in the game and i was like What??? i had brought in a RH relief pitcher to start the ninth and the sim pinch hit a lefthanded hitting player for him!.. NOWAY in real life that happens!... anyway i love this game and thnaks for creating it.. |

You might want to carefully examine your era and team strategy settings.
