I get it.

I am sorry because I don't think you're going to get a Mac version.

And my wife, who is a programmer who had laser eye surgery last year and now has 20/10 vision, says that laser eye surgery > everything there is in computing put together.

But...but...OSX is based on a Unix kernel! AHHH! IT'S A GREATER-THAN CYCLE THAT NEVER ENDS!

Not only have I suffered through one of those things personally, I used to have a Mac-only unit reporting to me. Barf.

It's all based on Unix, one way or the other.

I learned Unix back in the seventies, when it was the best operating system available. Now it's the next century and guess what - it's *still* the best operating system available, and I'm still using it.

Which brings me back to the Linux version of OOTP2006. One was mentioned - there was supposed to be a Windows verison, a Mac version, AND a Linux version, but I am not hearing much about the Linux version, and this worries me.

So...what's up with the Linux version?

I can understand the market for a Windows based, or Mac based program, but how many people would buy OOTP for linux? Would it be worth the time and effort for that?
