Reminders about extensions

Dont know if this has been mentioned.. but I forgot to offer contract extensions before hitting "proceed to Next Year" and lost my fictional league's "Rocket", a hometown favorite and free agent. He had been hurt late in the year and I wanted to wait before tendering an extension. Anyway, Puresim 2005 asks "Have you made all contract extension offers?" before proceeding. This step would not hurt things and would save dummies like me. Perhaps there would be a loyalty hit for tendering so late?

Should we draw some conclusions about the release date by this?

But it's 76 degrees and sunny here in Dallas today. Sounds like Spring to me - how about an early shipment?

As I understand it, the "Proceed to Next Year" function is being done away with in OOTP 2006 in favor of a full-year system with a schedule for things like resigning players, offering arbitration, and such, so this likely won't be necessary.
