Improvements on the Sim Half-Inning Option

I like to sim half inning by half inning and OOTP needs some improvement in this area.

1) If you have any substitutions (i.e.: computer pinchhits for your line-up previous inning) you are dumped to the lineup screen without being able to see the game situation. I do not know if I scored 1, 2 or 15 runs. I have often blindly brought in a closer for the ninth, only to be up by 7 runs, all scored the previous half-inning. An option to see the boxscore from the lineup screen would help.

thanks

I whole-heartedly approve of this option. Hell, there are times when I've pinch-hit for a pitcher then lose track of how well I did in the inning when it pops to that screen. Or I want to sub a pitcher, start looking into the opposing team's stats and whatnot, look through my pitchers to see who's most rested and who would do best in the situation... and realize I forgot the situation. It'd be nice to have that option.

I also think that , if you are using bullpen warm-ups, you should be able to bring in a reliever without penalty after a "sim-to" inning. Many times I sim to the 6th inning, only to find my starter has been pinch hit for and I cannot warm someone up.

Edit: And speaking of warm-ups... Can we finally have the CPU warm up pitchers also? Can we now replicate something that Tony Larussa Baseball 2 did in 1990??????

On a side note...

Does anyone else notice that when you sim half an inning, the team that is batting for that half innings scores at least one run probably 90% of the time? And it always seems like its the computer scoring the runs...
