I would like commentary

The pbp has mentioned several times for needing an upgrade. I would definitely like more variations of plays, but I was thinking that I would like to have a commentary. Just something to go along with the pbp. Maybe things like:

"The Cardinals are experiencing a great June, having won 10 out of their last 11. I can't believe how hot Pujols has been. Rumors has it that the GM is exploring a trade for another starter."

"The Braves have really been hit by the injury bug. With two of their five starters going out the last 2 weeks, you have to wonder who they will plug in those holes."

I would like more commentary about the league, teams, and off the field issues. What you think?

I don't know how much computer programming either of you do, but it is quite the lengthy process to do something like a play-by-play script. You basically need thousands of preset lines and the various triggers that must be true or false for one of them to be used, or a pool of them to be picked from.

As for actual voice-overs? Not gonna happen. In addition to the above programming, you need to hire someone to do the voice-overs, you need to add a sound player of some type in OOTP (thus making it more problematic to troubleshoot and install), and you need to worry about intrinsic issues with voice - inflection, pitch, speed. Believe me, I've worked with voice-overs quite a bit and although it is quite possible to do what you ask, it's EXTREMELY time-consuming.
