Lock all teams as human controlled

One time in an online league I was in a new owner switched his team to computer/ai control and it messed up an entire sim. It would be a nice security feature for commishes if you could lock all teams as human controlled to stop any possibility of this happening to a commish.

Good idea.

I forgot one time and switched it to computer control for some reason and the AI went in and changed all my batting orders, pitching rotations and depth charts. It was a pain to correct. It did it to all of the teams in the league. I control them all in a solo league.

Yet another nice idea for an option switch.

A lock all teams button would seem to be a pain, for the opposite reason. What if a team has to be set to computer for some reason?

Usually this happens by accident, because the Controlled by and Run Computer Manager buttons are on the team's roster page. If you accidently click on these buttons there's nothing that tells you that this has happened.

i think it would earsier if clicking these buttons resulted in a confirmation dialogue. Something like: "You are about to turn over control of this team to human/computer. Are you sure you want to do this?"

Also, the buttons shouldn't be on the team's front page, that's something that should be on the Team Setup page.

Then you would be able to do that. The idea is to have one button to click to lock all as HUMAN for online leagues.

As long as you could unlock them. Like locking the ratings in 6.5, once you do it you're stuck.

But if you have an online league or multi-player league where all the teams are not controlled, you wouldn't be able to use the Lock All button and, again, the human teams have no protection from the slip up.

I've never been in an online league where the AI is allowed to manage a team.

The obvious solution to your problem would be to have check boxes for each team with a lock/unlock option.
