OOTP 2006 Finances

Can anyone tell me if there will be an option for pre free agency finances in OOTP 2006? I am only interested in historical baseball particularly "Deadball" Era and always have to play without finances to keep from having free agency. Also will there be any improvement on rookie creation for fictional leagues in the Deadball Era?

Thanks.

With regard to rookie creation in fictional deadball leagues, my experience in 12+ seasons of the Pro Circuit is that I almost have the modifiers, etc. tweaked to the point of getting exactly what I want for the league presently in 1906.

As far as the pre free agency finances, I think a co-efficient which has been announced works with or without FA, but I'm not sure on that.

I'll share what I've learned about fictional deadball rookie creation with you if you like. I can be reached at cooleyatcharterdotnet.

I do know you can turn free agency off from the blogs.

No thanks, I prefer importing historical years anyway but thought I might want to try fictional if 2006 had a built in 'deadball' modification.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure FA and finances are two separate things now. And with the ability to make the finances as small or large as you want it should be pretty easy to do what you want (or as close to it as possible).
