Lightbulb The Option to Resign Coaches

I think this is fairly self-explanatory... thoughts?

YES!!!

I manage the Yankees, and I have lost over the past two seasons, Brian Cashman and Mel Stottlemyre.

In reality, both of them would have stayed with the Yankees.

But, because I can't resign them, I had to put them out on the market, and I lost them both.

I agree completely with this. Although, the coach's valuation of himself must also change with this, because during signing time, when some coaches ask for $500,000, they end up getting over $1 mil. In my mind, it'd be worse if once you signed a coach, he would repeatedly re-sign for under market value.

In addition to this, a feature that has long been asked for: certain players from the retiring pool enter the coaches pool.

I love this idea too.

I'd say probably, players with a strong team leader rating should enter the coaches pool the year after they retire.

If they're leaders when they're players, it would make sense that they'd be a good coach.

I also would like to see where you have to hire an actual manager for your team, and that manager has certain ratings for like the steals, hook, etc.....and it cost ya money, and u can resign them, fire them, what not, same with the coaching staff.

And firing an old/hiring a new can sometimes inspire a team to great things.

This is already in the game, not everyone enters the coaches pool but some do.
