The next batter, Cindy Jenkins...
Totally fictional, but of course, very real. In the spirit of creating a global game, full of possibilities, shouldn't the game support women's baseball? Either in a separate league (think A League of Their Own) or to ultimately integrate with the boys of the big leagues. I know you can do this on your own, but the trick is, when you play the games, and read the scouting reports, they are all geared toward men (he, him, his, etc.).
Has any thought been given to putting this in the game at all?

This game should support men, women, and androgyny leages.

They come to the plate, and they are hitting .366 so far this season...

While I completely disagree with the originator of this thread, I would have no problem with having women in the game as long as it was an option.
I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I NEVER want to see a woman in my fictional baseball universe. And yes, I do have a daughter and would encourage her every step of the way if she were talented enough and wanted to pursue a major league baseball career or play in a professional woman's league. But, in my game, my created universe, having a woman player would absolutely kill the game for me. |
