Situational pitchers

I would like to be able to use some of my relief pitchers only against certain types of hitters when I sim. I have Cormier and I really only want him to pitch against lefties. Maybe we can have a situational % for the relievers where if I can just have my lefty relievers to go against lefty hitters and the same with righties.

It shouldn't be hard to do, the game is already set up for lefty/right stats, all it has to do is examine if pitchers are much more successful vs. a certain side and use them 95% of the time against just that side.

I would definately like to see this. There are some fellows with REALLY bad L-R splits that would make great situational relievers, but absolutely suck if they are used in normal situations. Add a couple of new categories to the picthing staff list (you can remove one of the two closer slots and one of the mop-up spots to make room).
