It was suggested that I post this here as well....
There is currently no sim option for QUIT GAME as there was in OOTP 6.5 or prior versions. This option is useful if you want to do an extended historical sim of a specific player (say, Warren Spahn) and that player has a career ending injury or something like that in the middle of a specific ballgame. You can quit the game without saving anything and replay it again. It would also be useful now during the learning period of OOTPB2006 as I am constantly experimenting and wanting to redo things. As it is I am stuck with the results of my sloppy decisions and extended historical replays as mentioned above are more difficult to accomplish. The only real work around at this point is to ctrl-alt-del out of the database - which I am doing, but I don't think it's good for the database or my PC. Please consider adding this sim option back to the game. Thanks! |

Yeah, this feature needs back in. Especially if i want to redo the lineup again. Also, if i dont want to complete the game, but have to shut it down, i could just Quit the game and then shut it down. Now i have to quick sim the game. I dont think this would be a hard thing to code in.
