Exclamation Request 2 bring back 6.5 stuff! YOUR LIST HERE!

Theres so much I MISS from the past versions of OOTP.

1. ADD Single-game records, rookie records RECORDS!! RECORDS!! RECORDS!!!!

2. ADD trade block, shop player feature.

3. ADD the ability to edit what you want, EASILY (changing teams from human/cpu managed, finances, market size, fan loyalty).

4. ADD the Ability to RESET your league at any time.

5. ADD the Ability to Back-up your league.

6. Ability to know which way a team (ownership) is heading (rebuilding, contending, in between).

7. ADD Expansion, really kills any idea of buidling a historical league at the moment (should be fixed hopefully soon).

Ive see alot of old features come up...It leads me to believe I think we should point out some basics from the past that we loved so much..

ANYTHING THAT YOU MISS FROM 6.5 DON'T HESITATE TO ADD!

EDIT:
- Changed franchise records to rookie records

8. Erase all career stats.

9. Free agent offer log, so you remember who you offered contracts to.

10. Email when a player is ready to come off the d/l or when a player isn't injured anymore.

Franchise records are in, both seasonal and career. Go to "History", bring up the team you want, then go to "Leaders: Batters - Pitchers".

It's presented differently, but it's still clear enough if you go to the "Roster" tab of your team, and look for the flame and ice cube icons.

This is also in, and much better implemented than in v6, I might add. Go to "History", and click on "Leaderboards".

I liked career leaders report cause it presented in a better way and in one page. Now i have to click on a specific thing(homerun) to see a list. Would be cool to have both.

Those are what those symbols are? lol wasnt sure what they were for. Would be coo lto have mouse-over information for them.

Why I say it's implemented better is because it tracks a lot more stats, including positional leaders for each.

Treedom, I missed that. Thanks for pointing that out.

I think its the fact it was presented a little better in 6.5, but on the other hand at least now it lists 10 in ea. category.

Not a major but the old playoff seedings would be cool.

That is not having two teams from the same division meeting in the first round of a 3 division/1 wilcard format.

- The ability to run the sim in a mode where you cannot be fired

- Minor league roster management as it existed in previous versions of the game and not have the AI override your decisions

- The ability to designate late inning defensive replacements and pinch hitters

And I'd like to second much of what's been said above like trading block, free agent offer log, minors report, erase stats option, reset league option.

I'm sure I'll think of more later.

I like most of these features too and would love to see them return. However, remember this game is a complete rewrite and if all the 6.5 features were put in we'd probably be looking at a 2007 release date.

Definitely would like to see the 7-day lineup feature back. I thought it was nice to try match a lineup against a particular pitcher.

I also wish there was someway to differentiate the players. Starting a fictional league is overwhelming - you look through 100's of players throughout your system with no way to really get an overview of their worth without looking at their specific ratings. The star system was lame but at least you could easily spot the few gems you had in the system and the wastes of time. I'm not going to ask for the star system back, but I wish there was some way we could have something to make that easier.

- The ability to quick-sim at-bats with strategic options
- Clear career stats (either upon league creation or after the sim has started)
- Better AI
- Fewer infield singles, wild pitches, passed balls

I really miss seeing not having 20 game winners and no-hitters in the almanac.
I can only find no-hitters for the current year under 'Top Performances' on the right side of the league home page.

Also, it would be good to see the league financials on one page to get a comparison on how your team's payroll compares with others.

In addition, it would be good to see head-to-head team results.
