Drag and drop between leagues and teams

I'm a 32 year veteran of Strat-O-Matic from way back in the cards and dice days that went over to the dark side in the past year. For the first time since 1975, I didn't buy anything from them and am now an OOTP junkie. To me, the difference between OOTP and SOM is like when I bought my high definition television...it was like now watching tv with my glasses on, while my old tv signal was like watching it with my glasses off.

That being said, there are some features of SOM that are very useful and if there were similar features in OOTP, there would be many others who would switch. I know dozens if not hundreds of SOM gamers who would consider it, but who have not because of one main reason. They are like me, from the cards and dice days, but many are not that computer savvy. They like the ability to drag and drop between teams and leagues. Sometimes it's hard enough to learn a new game platform with new menus, but to many they feel like they have to learn Access and SQL in order to set up leagues the way they like.

In SOM, if you want to setup a draft league based on a particular season, you simply drag and drop the players from one league to the next or from one team to the next. If I want the 2001 Ichiro to play in 1951, I simply drag him into the '51 free agent pool. If I want the entire 2001 Mariners, I can drag and drop the entire team.

Is it possible to have that ability in the future, without having to manipulate a database? In the SOM leagues I was in, it was lucky that everyone knew how to create a zip file, let alone know how to use SQL. This would be particularly useful for anyone considering switching, but who wants to keep the original league structure that they may have had in their SOM league.
