Views and AI

When I view a list of players stats and/or ratings, I am virtually always viewing either pitchers or hitters; seldom both at once. Two requests based on this:

--Subviews! Allow a user-defined view to be subdivided into a version for pitchers lists, hitters lists, and perhaps even columns for both, with dual column headers like Contact/Stuff, etc.

--View AI: the program should usually be able to tell what sort of stats/ratings we are seeking from the context. If your team is taking the field with a PH in the lineup but no pitcher, you need to see pitching ratings and stats. If your pitcher comes to bat with runners on base in the late innings and you go to the substitution page, you need to see hitters ratings and stats.

It's a simple menu selection to change the views.

This is not a bug, it is a feature request. It should be moved to the appropriate forum.

These are nice suggestions, and thanks very much. But, the gentleman posting before me was right, these are really feature requests, and belong in the Suggestions forum, so I'm moving it there.

I agree with the move; sorry for my mistake.

It's not such a simple menu selection to change the view when you need to go from view1-batters to view-2 pitchers. Four clicks at least and possibly a re-sort by position involved...

By the way, in the pearl skin the category selection for user-created views is dark text on dark background, difficult to read...
