Real-Time Detail

Perhaps more detail in the descriptions of the real-time action. EG- Which players got the outs, what players are on base, pitchers warming up.

EG> Rollins grounds out. Johnson to Williams.
Hollins Flies out to Moritz.

In fact, it would be nice to create an entire ESPN or MLB Network "Gamecenter" style approach to real-time. It's great to have all of the detail while still being able to "surf" around the game and check out scouting reports, stats, etc...while the game playes on seamlessly without interruption. This way you never have to actually "enter" the game.

yup the more I think of it...there should be a scoreboard (like the current one) for watching all of the league's games on one screen...and then a way to click on each game and expand that game into a detailed webcast in real-time that might take up an entire page for that particular game...then you could go back, click on another game, and watch that one in detail if you so choose.

so basically, if you expand the game you get something similar to this: (maybe not as much) The best part is, you don't have to enter the game, and can browse around (just like you can now with the Real-time scoreboard)

to me, this beats graphics...in fact, there really wouldn't be a need for an "in game" mode. You could have ballparks similar to above, with some animation in terms of where the ball is hit, and runners etc.. It takes care of the 2d graphics aspect also.
