Post I would love if,,,,

One thing I don't worry about with this game is the gameplay...when something needs addressing Markus and the rest of the ootp team (whoever you are) seem to respond faster then any other game maker and they are cool about it and don't seem to be offended about people harping on things over and over...that said here is my wish list for additions
1) A few additions to the Career leader board such as : Games played for positional players and games started for pitchers.
2)Have hitting for the cycle posted atleast in the history section along with no-hitters 3 HR games ect...
3)Defensive stats compiled for a career
4)Defensive awards (gold gloves) added to the awards given at the end of the year.
5)Split Stats for a career..would so much need a year to year just a total would be fine.
6) Post season total compiled...
As far as the game issues... So far Markus and company have proven to me that they care about this game and they care what we think about it so I trust that they will keep up the good work and make it the best they can but that never will be a perfect reproduction of baseball...but it sure is fun...

1) Absolutely, this would be great!
2) For some reason I thought it was there, but I'm probably wrong about that, I agree it should be included if it isn't.
3) Yep.
4) Definitely.
5) I don't completely understand what you mean, but that's probably just me not having enough sleep.
6) YES!

Hmmm...looks like I agree with you on pretty much everything.

1) Could be nice..
2) Its in the Player Histories HFO, but not on the career leaderboards, probably should be there.
3) Depending on how its implemented (perhaps career totals rather than last years totals)
4) Could be nice (IatricSB's HTML utility does this already)
5) This is a space issue, but perhaps (lefty right career splits at least would be nice)
6) I believe these were also a space issue.. but again could be nice.

Yeah, I think mainly all of my wishes would mainly be a hard drive space issue and possibly a compatibility issue with importing from older versions in the series..I noticed that the HTML Utility does the gold glove awards but I think I either don't know where to look and can't find it in the pages or I did something wrong..I did find a page called gold glove but it seemed to list position by position totals in no given order which was cool in of itself..As far as no 5 on my list what I meant to say and worded pretty bad was the the r/l splits wouldn't have to be kept on a year to year bases, how it does it now is fine for me, but if it could keep a career total while keeping the current and last year which is what it keeps track of now...

What it be possible for someone out side of the deveopment team to create a spread sheet that would keep track of some of the stats that the game tracks on a just yearly bases and compile them to a year to year looking spreadsheet.
I haven't found one yet...I do import my team into excell by that gets time comsuming and doesn't tell me whats going on around my league..

When Pierre's Player Editor becomes available you'll be able to dump all your stats for each player into spreadsheets.

Pierre's doesn't give a release date but in the OOTP4 forum you'll find a post with an update on his progress, planned features, and a screen shot.

Here is one thread where some of the import and export features are listed:
<a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=001279" target="_blank">http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=001279</a>

The Update thread is here: <a href="http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=001484" target="_blank">http://www.ootpbb.com/board/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=11&t=001484</a>

When it comes out he'll notify us here on the forum and it will be uploaded to the three usual sites (Baseball Sim Central, OOTPWorld, and BigCityBaseball). (It may only be uploaded to one, but the others will generally download it and host it there as well)
