Suggestion: anniversaries, important dates
The recent 30-year anniversary of Hank Aaron breaking the all-time HR record reminds me of something neat that could be added to OOTP -- similar reminder news stories on anniversaries of big milestones in our own leagues...
It might be tough to code but it would be a neat link to the past for those playing multiple seasons... Instead of remembering Aaron and Bonds, etc. we could be reading about "30 years ago today <<fictional player>> broke the season record for home runs with his 70th blast..." or "10 years ago this week, <<fictional pitcher>> set a league record with 22 strike outs in a single game..." Stuff like that would be neat to see pop up in the news section from time to time... |
