Crowd Noise Louder than Umpires, Etc.

I know most people don't (or can't) play with in-game sounds on. But I've always loved the ambiance the sounds provide.

In 6.5, the relative volumes are quite different than in 6.12. For instance, in 6.5 I can only vaguely hear in the background the umpire yell "strike three" when a batter is caught looking or "safe" when there's a close play at a base. Same thing with the crack of the bat. Like the umpire, in 6.5 the crack of the bat is almost totally drowned out by the crowd noise.

In 6.12, on the other hand, the umpire's voice and the sound of the bat were always clear and easy to hear.

Is this a bug, or is there a way to re-balance in-game sounds? I'd love to hear the sounds (other than crowd noise) as well as I could in 6.12.

Anyone else notice this? Can it be fixed (either via patch or by someone telling me how to re-balance the sounds)? Thanks.

This probably wouldn't be a problem if you played the Expos.

Unfortunately, it's also no problem with the Indians much of the time IRL.

Seriously, though, has anyone else noticed this?

The crowd noise is lots louder than any other sounds in my 6.5. I loved hearing the crack of the bat or the umpire calling "you're out" on close plays at first. Maybe those days are gone now, unless (1) it's a bug and Markus can fix it, or (2) there's a way to change the relative volumes of the components of the in-game sounds.

I have the same problem. The crowd noise is much to loud compared to the other sounds.

Rdomico, thanks for confirming that I haven't lost my mind.

Well, maybe I have, but at least this isn't evidence of it!

Anyone else?

Yes....i was upset that you can hardly hear the crack of the bat. It would be nice if that was adjusted.
