Engine Question...
I have 2 seasons going, and I am having a problem. The 1st league I am managing and the stats are crazy out of whack and the other I am just simming for the stats (I am a stats geek!) and the stats are pretty much in line.
When I say out of whack I mean, there is no pitching! The guys are hitting .500, but no home runs. If a team doesn't score 10 runs/game its a shock! Both leagues are using the same engine settings, etc. The only difference is I changed the stadiums and copied the "parkconfig" and "park" data files as the readme text file requested. Is this the problem?? What can I do to fix this? I do enjoy the high scoring games, but I do want my league ERA leader to have an era under 7!!! Any help will be appreciated. TIA!!

The park factors may be the difference. if all the park factors are way over 100 you're going to have tons of offense.

Easy way...
thanks-f.montoya, now for a follow up...
is there an easy way to edit the park factors (ie. dump to excel) or is this something needs to be done 1 stadium at a time? also, whats my goal? To have all stadiums combined avg. 100 or just to have the avg stadium factor per stadium at or around 100?

I think you're stuck with editing one stadium at a time. You can export and import individual stadia to files for use with OOTP, but no back-and-forth with Excel as far as I know.
