Missing Players in 6.5?

I noticed players missing in 6.5. I let the game simulate about 10 seasons last night, and when I came back, it had completed, but when I went to the retired players list, a player who was 35 when the sim started wasn't on the retired players list. I tried to do a find to get him, and he's nowhere to be found. The sim started in 2011. He's on the roster in the almanac until 2013, but then in 2014 he's not on the roster, and there's no note in the transaction report that he retired, was released or traded. He appears to just be gone. He was a sure hall of famer, too, which is what's surprising.

Anyone else seeing this? Is this somehow related to the retired players bug? I'm curious as to why there is no note in the transactions, either. Also, his stats are gone. When he was active, he was the career leader in walks and now he's not even on the list, though he should still be #4 if he'd retired the day I flipped to 6.5.
