Help! Gen Amateurs Crash

Don't know how to close a thread, newbie. But I wanted to thank everyone for helping. Your suggestions worked and all seems to be well.

I purchased OOTP6 a while ago and was never able to get it to work. I would play one season, proceed to the next year, and it would crash while going through the "Generating Amateurs" routine for the next year. When I tried to load it up again, the file is corrupted and it just hangs, eventually saying that the program is not responding.

After you e-mail marketed me about 6.5, I purchased it hoping the issues had been fixed, they have not been. I tried again and again and the exact same thing keeps happening.

I have a top end system, 3.2ghz, 512ram, XP, high end video card etc. so it is not a hardware issue. I e-mailed this problem consistantly when I had V6 with no return e-mails.

I love this game, however, if I can't get some help, I want a refund on 6 and 6.5.

Check your miscellaneous setup screen under league set up and see how many rounds the draft is set up for. I think there has been a problem with the game having a huge number instead of the default ten.

yep, it happened to me twice.

Yeah...I had like 6.12 somehow reset the draft to like 6000+ rounds 5 or 6 times...hasn't happened to me in 6.5 yet....but I look now everytime now..just to be safe.
